Infrastructure Policy
Consolidates the transport, energy, forestry and planning functions of the Department into one area. The division is responsible for the planning, development and/or review of integrated transport system, energy and forest policies and strategies to enhance the sustainable economic development of the State.

The Branch provides improved strategic infrastructure and transport policy and planning advice to Government. It is concentrating its efforts on a small number of major projects, rather than spreading its resources across many wide ranging tasks.
